Biography

I’m Edgar Marquez (Edgar MC), a multidisciplinary designer and storyteller who blends motion, design, and emotion to create visuals that connect with people. Originally from Mexico and now based in Vancouver, I’ve built my creative path from the ground up — moving from graphic design to motion and video direction — always guided by curiosity, aesthetics, and purpose.

My connection with art started early. I used to spend hours drawing, fascinated by how a blank page could turn into a world of its own. That spark probably runs in my family — my grandfather was a street saxophonist in Mexico, filling plazas with music and soul. I think that’s where I got my love for expressing emotion through art — whether it’s through visuals, rhythm, or storytelling.

I love collaborating with other creatives and exploring how ideas can come to life in unexpected ways. I’m passionate about turning imagination into something real — finding that space where creativity and purpose meet to make people feel something.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked across graphic design, motion, and video production, creating campaigns and visual content for the tech and creative industries. I combine storytelling with strategy and technology, always aiming to craft visuals that not only look good — but genuinely move people.
