What is Wanderlog?

Wanderlog is an all-in-one travel planning app that lets users organize itineraries, bookings, and places to visit in one unified, map-based interface. It simplifies trip planning by replacing multiple tools with a single, collaborative platform.

As a new startup Wanderlog was looking to create an impactful campaign that aimed to leisure travelers and trip planners in mind for brand awareness, particularly those who actively use social media during the planning phase. According to research on social media and travel behavior, women tend to engage more with visual content and use social platforms more frequently when planning trips, which informed the choice of a female protagonist and a visually driven narrative, while remaining inclusive of all travelers.

We created two static ad designs and one motion ad for digital channels, along with a complementary set of print materials including a poster, magazine ad, and billboard. Together, these assets function as a connected campaign designed for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and beyond. The motion ad extends the first static image, telling a simple and relatable story of a traveler overwhelmed by trip planning, followed by the relief that comes from having everything organized in one place.

The creative follows a clear problem → solution → outcome narrative. It begins by highlighting the stress and complexity of trip planning, transitions into clarity through Wanderlog’s product experience, and ends with an aspirational travel outcome.

The call to action was intentionally kept clear and low-pressure, aligning with early-stage discovery behavior. Rather than pushing urgency, the CTA is designed to reduce friction and invite users to explore Wanderlog naturally once interest is established.
